Winter is having a crisis of identity.

Yesterday demanded that we manufacture our own light with fire, tea, and knitting.

Today requires that we manufacture our own warmth.  I might try fire, tea, and knitting for that, too.

Yesterday required a lengthy search for firewood deep within the tarped pile, where the rain had not yet completely penetrated.

Today I shall try to bring it in as fast as possible, before it takes on a fluffy (wet) coat.

Hunker down, hibernate. Regenerate. Rest.

I love this time of year.

I’m glad somebody likes it…cause it isn’t me. Please oh please can we have some sunshine? My sinuses have absolutely no idea what is going on so perpetual headaches ensue….sigh….
