The number of sheep gracing the pastures of Five Green Acres ebbs and flows with the seasons. It is a delicate dance we perform, trying to balance what the grass can sustain with the amount of wool we’d like to harvest. As these are only five green acres, our flock of sheep remains modest in size. The resulting wool, while also modest in quantity, becomes precious and fleeting. Each harvest of wool shorn from the flock becomes a necessary celebration of that given flock, in that given year. Or two, as the case may be.
All of this is to say that This is Wool. yarn is always limited in quantity. Each harvest is unique and the skeins offered within them will not be repeated, nor will stocks be replenished once sold out.
But each year brings a new harvest, and the promise of something new to delight your fingertips with. Therein lies all the fun.
