The yarn is tucking itself into a giant suitcase, my spinning wheel is a constant whir of activity as I try to spin up the last of First Harvest and my carry-on liquids have been sequestered to a quart size clear bag. I’m nearly out the door, headed for Squam.
It’s been awhile since I traveled by plane, so a quick refresher of TSA regulations for carry-ons was necessary. Imagine my relief to learn the following:
**Snow globes that appear to contain less than 3.4 ounces (approximately tennis ball size) will be permitted if the entire snow globe, including the base, is able to fit in the same one clear, plastic, quart-sized, re-sealable bag, as the passenger’s other liquids, such as shampoo, toothpaste and cosmetics.
I’ve decided to forgo any sort of personal hygiene while at Squam, so as to maximize the space for snow globes in my ziplock bag. So far I’ve fit 9 in there; I’m nearly covered.
