The Vicarious Farmer: Wishes Made on Diamonds

Welcome back to The Vicarious Farmer.  It’s a bite-size serving of farmdom:  a string of fresh photos from the Acres, perhaps a pocket full of words to ruminate on. The Vicarious Farmer is you, perched on my shoulder for a glimpse of the day-to-day goings-on of this little farmette -  the idyllic and the banal.

Today’s installment takes note of the plea left by Winter this morning.  This is the month she leaves us, and the knowledge of this impending departure intensifies her desire to be understood, to be remembered fondly when her sultry counterpart seduces our bare skin.  Please.  I have much virtue.  Please.  See me.

Gorgeous! Reminds me that it has been a beautiful winter, even though I was cursing the relentless snowstorms driving home from work the other day…
